Honeysuckle Rain

ATMOSPHERE:
NOTES:
Honeysuckle, Narcotic Floral, Dew Fruit, Magnolia Leaf, Fig, Fern, Petrichor,
Soft Earth, Summer Rain
Honeysuckle Rain is an ambient green floral with a hint of freshly damp earth - dewy with intoxicating narcotic florals.
The spaces in between
honeysuckle and leaves,
vining around an old oak tree
grasses shimmer along river banks,
roots buried in earth,
I can see above the clouds,
through drops of rain
hanging from petals,
there is lightning

I grew up in the southern part of the east coast, honeysuckles are extremely nostalgic for me and unfortunately i couldn't smell any honeysuckle. The first scent i catch is kin to a wet dog smell. I have to sniff through it to catch a hint of florals and what smells like rain on hot asphalt. It isnt gonna make me not want to explore scent trunk more but it does make me sad because i really wanted to love it
I was gifted this scent. I enjoy the smell of honeysuckle, but there is something nauseating in this. It never fails to give me a headache. It smells like a mixture of flowers and mildew. Almost like I left my washed clothes in the dryer too long... I enjoy the smell of damp concrete, but this is dirty smelling.
I like the Honeysuckle plant smell. This smells more of a bathtub and after-shower smell. It is not a natural smell you take from the actual plant in the rain. Also, I was looking for the smell by the time the rain started, and this is not what I was looking for. After some hours, it has a metallic smell and gives me a headache.
