Refund policy

Unless a package is lost, damaged or an order is shipped incorrectly, we have a no refund policy. Because scent is very subjective, we encourage customers to purchase a 5ml Travel Spray to evaluate whether it's a good fit or not.

To be eligible for a refund, you’ll need the receipt or proof of purchase. To request a refund, you can contact us at support@scenttrunk.com. Items sent back to us without first requesting a refund will not be accepted.


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. Because perfume is a flammable liquid (alcohol based) we do not accept returns of our products. We simply ask that you gift your fragrance to someone who you think will enjoy it! Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns and we'll be happy to help!

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards, but are happy to deactivate them and refund the balance if it is within 6 months of purchase due to payment processing regulations. Refunds greater than 6 months old will require us to obtain complete banking info in order to process refund.

International shipping charges will not be refunded if address is incorrect or if order does not clear customs. Please check with your countries import policies regarding alcohol-based perfumes before purchasing.


Exchanges
Because we cannot accept returns, we do not accept exchanges. We are sorry.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and processed your refund request, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time (7-10 business days) for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
