Brent Leonesio is a Los Angeles-based artist, perfumer and the creator of the indie perfume brand Smell Bent. Known for its playful and humorous compositions, Smell Bent was launched in 2009 and quickly drew attention in the indie perfume scene. Brent’s work draws on both traditional and contemporary perfume making, often contrasting the beautiful and the strange. With names like Disco Nap and Commando, Brent pairs tongue-in-cheek humor with often deceptively complex scents. In recent years, Smell Bent has grown its aesthetic to encompass diverse themes like memory, identity and the spiritual experience of Pop music. Brent lives in Hollywood with his partner Alex, their 2 cats and dog, Lil Bents.
