Giving it a two because of subjectiveness, but was expecting more wood, amber but instead was left with such an overpowering hit of apricot it's a little nauseating. I wanted to like this. After watching the video I was expecting something closer to D&G The One For Men EDP with more tea and leather and books. This scent doesn't do a good job of balancing the apricot in. The apricot does not dissipate as fast as you'd expect, and ironically the longevity on this is very good. I really like Sam Macer's content, this was a good idea just not well put together. I think he should cross reference against some designer fragrances that give this same vibe and reformulate. The sweetness isn't necessarily a problem, see the D&G example.
