Black currants commingle with champagne bubbles and stay sparkling throughout this Burgundy inspired fragrance as it journeys through fields of pine and sweet vines finally arriving in a rich amber dream. Smokey wisps dance back and forth with the Cassis playing on the tension between old and new world.
“I wanted to envelop the aroma of black currant into something that would evoke a Burgundian setting and lifestyle. So I took the iconic note of Papier Ambré and added a bit of incense to it. At the same time the perfume had to convey the duality of winter, a cold outdoorsy scent with the warmth and coziness of a life in a French mansion.”
