Golden Cocoa is a light summer gourmand inspired by Jallab, a thirst quenching Lebanese drink that captures the symbolic and cultural meaning of special moments. Gold represents the perfection and the sun; dates symbolize abundance and chocolate is used for ceremonial purposes. This scent smells like a decadent dessert you want every day.
“ Golden Cocoa was inspired by a special yearly family gathering full of shiny smiles and laughter. The white chocolate gives the sensuality of cocoa with a twist focusing on Jallab and dates. During the holy month of Ramadan, gift boxed dates are created with various chocolate dips and delicious toppings. Jallab is a refreshing drink to indulge in after a long day of fasting. It sparkles you up with its icy freshness and depth bringing a summer joy."
It's nice for fall. It smells sweet and fruity at first, like watermelon, according to my daughter. I don't smell the cocoa. I used two sprays just in case it was strong and I didn't like it. I like it well better in late September than in spring. It has a light woodsy, maple syrup smell too.
Not a safe blind buy. Strong opening, and the cocoa is biter and off putting. Tried layering it with another cocoa/chocolate fragrance but it didn't help. It comes out strong and doesn't have longevity.
